This also reminds me of a time when Shells would tell us to, “Tuck your shirts in, girls! You have to look presentable.” We might as well keep going down memory lane — (because truly, it contributes to the style you know and love here today) my Mother would also make sure we had one black and brown pair of shoes, each season.
Alas, why I named this blog post “Blue Hearts,” 1) the BLUE pumps and 2) hearts for walking down memory lane.

I’ve put my twist on it, but this tucked in shirt, jean skirt and blue (black) pumps … this outfit would be considered a staple in my Sunset Hills home as a kid.

The top & skirt are Urban Outfitters, the bag is thrifted (almost vintage) Dooney and Bourke, blue pumps are J.Crew, sunnies are Forever21 and the bracelet & earrings are also thrifted, rings are Madewell.
