They were real that day I wore a vest!
They were real that day I wore a vest! If you don’t get that reference, you probably shouldn’t be reading this blog post right now! Hah hah, I’m kidding … sort of.
Mean Girls (unfortunately) inspired a lot of my middle-school fashion girl self. The “on Wednesdays we wear pink” thing actually stuck for a hot second. And so did the rules and regulations of skirts vs. pants and what days of the week you were “allowed” to wear them. And no, I didn’t have anyone else join in on these “rules” with me, it was more me, myself and I. Which is something I don’t think I’ve ever admitted out loud to myself, let alone a crowd of people reading my blog posts … I’m judging me right now.
Okay, but let’s get back to why we’re really here on DuffyDossier.com: this amazing Dorothy Perkins VEST I was lucky enough to snag through Octer.com. I have to tell you, I’ve been longing for a long, camel colored vest much like this one for a while! And this Octer opportunity came along right at the perfect seasonal-time.
I styled the entire look with one of my favorite, and over-worn (may I also admit out loud), super comfy, green, jersey turtleneck, my BEST PAIR of black high-waisted leggings from American Apparel, and the OTKВ boots from Aldo we all know and <3. В Plus, a scarf with some 1940s vintage earrings to top it off.
