Well, if there’s any place considered to be my own personal heaven on earth – the Pgh Vintage Mixer is it. Literally, guys! Two entire floors of vintage vendors – maxed to the tippy top. Gorgeous fabrics, handcrafted and delicately cared for, mmm!В If only there was some bank account I could charge to the clouds, sigh.
The Heinz History Center hosted this years #vintage mixer, and I’d like to thank Bess Dunlevy for all of her hard work coordinating such a wonderful event!
What did I buy? Meet Lagelle, a hot mama/Pittsburgh blogger/stylist who provides her customers with handmade vintage accessories. But, accessories aren’t her only forte – I purchased a BEAUTIFUL floral sundress from her. Pinks and purples with greenery surrounding the big petaled designs; and white lace lining the bottom of the skirt. This dress looks like something the real Charlie’s Angels woulda worn, pre-beach visit – sipping cocktails at the snazzy hotel bar. You know what would look amazing with this dress? A big sunhat… stay tuned, I’ll find one рџ‰
I met Velouria Vintage, too! Miss VV showed me a sunflower bracelet I couldn’t not buy & a darling white crop top from the 70s that is going to be perfect for this Spring/Summer weather! There were many other vintage dealers around the room, Royal Establishment, Kicky Feet Vintage, Vintage By Kristy, Highway Robbery Vintage and oh so many more! While I wished I could have spent all my time (and funds) on everyone’s beautiful pieces, the event had to end sometime; and so it did at 3pm.
