I have to admit, I’m not one for skirts. I don’t know what it is? I have plenty of them, but I’m never magnetically drawn to them when I style. I think it’s a personal issue — I’m short, and if the skirt doesn’t fit in all the right places, I’m out.

This one, however! Was a fantastic find from none other than Talbots KIDS. Yes, I meant to type Talbots KIDS. Like the KIDS store Talbots had (and was more successful in the 90s).

Wanna know a secret? I used to work at Talbots Kids in high school. I spent almost 2 years there! And as I mentioned earlier, being short (and small), you get to take advantage of KIDDO sized clothing. Which is probably why this skirt fits me so well 😉

The skirt is Talbots Kids, faux leather jacket from Forever21, the sunglassesВ are Nasty Gal,
clutch is Highway Robbery Vintage and the strand of faux pearls is (big girl) Talbots.
