Green Monochrome
Green Monochrome. This outfit was worn a bright sunny, Sunday morning. I was invited for brunch at the DL Loft in Lakeview – atop A Perfect Event on Chicago. Debi Lilly, a event planner pro – invited us bloggers to brunch and DIY to celebrate the Holiday.
I’ve just recently explored the world of monochrome, and I hate to admit it, but I think Kanye’s onto something. Wearing the same color all over … works. I don’t know if it’s because it catches your eye, or because it makes you look mysterious, “Does that girl KNOW she’s rocking the same color on bottom and top?” Regardless of the reason: I support it, haha. This outfit wasn’t even FULL ON monochrome, I was just getting my feet wet.
While the macaroons and raspberry cruffins were my favorite part (did I mention the prosecco was, too?) I did get to see the gals creating gift tags and dressing the gift bags with adorable stickers. It was a blast!
Here are my outfit details: the sweater & button down is from Talbots, skirt is Forever 21, shoes are Jeffrey Campbell, coat is from Vintage by Kristy in Pittsburgh, and the sunglasses are Cole Haan.
Here is one last shot of me with some of my fellow blogger babes! The Kittchen is on my immediate left.

Gorgeous outfit! Looks like a fun event. Those macarons look delicious! I can never say no to those.
