Pencil Dress Genius
Pencil Dress Genius. I don’t know what it is about vintage, but the *good* pieces I find fit like gloves EVERY time. Clothes used to be made differently, there was more care in stitching, more effort made in choosing fabric types and colors. Now clothes are made for the streamline … quick and easy and fast! It’s quantity > quality, and it’s such a bummer too!

This suspender-esque neckline is my favorite aspect about this vintage piece.
This suspender-esque neckline is my favorite aspect about this vintage piece from CHC Vintage. It really enhances the bodice and sets up the rest of the fabric to form fit. I’m not one for brown hues. It’s not that I don’t adore them, I just don’t tend that way. But with the red hair … how could I and should I not?! Neutral brown hues compliment the shade on my head nicely.
The blouse is Forever21, shoes are BCBG and the sunglasses are Cole Haan.
