So. Cold. I’m sorry, I can’t even with this weather right now. First of all – where did our half-still-summer-weather-during-winter go?! Second of all, Chicago … you’re back on my list.

My photographer and I ventured out on what was most definitely the coldest day of the season to date. I’ve never had to stop a photo shoot for any reason, but because of today’s weather, it was my first. However, I’m willing to admit this me-being-cold thing was my fault entirely. It’s not in my normal routine to check to weather.

I’m not kidding you – my limbs had to thaw … yes *thaw* out – like a chicken wing, after we were done for the day. It’s been somewhat of an adjustment moving to Chicago. In Pittsburgh we have about three-four of these REALLY BAD days per year. In Chicago, you have one of those days once per week.

We shot in Pilsen, Chicago – lower west side. I’ve never been to that neck of the woods before. Awesome views and also amazing steet-art. Check it out!

The fur is vintage — from my Grandmother, the sweater crop top is Urban Outfitters, the jeans and sunglasses are Forever21 and the shoes are H&M.
