SS16 Concept Korea, Part 1

SS16 Concept Korea, Part 1

Day 2 and my feet are about to fall off. Listen, I’m never that girl (says the girl who just wrote it on the internet, who everyone is rolling their eyes at, because you ARE that girl) … who can’t walk in heels. It’s my philosophy that you knew what you were getting into when you put them on in the morning. If you can’t walk like a normal human in them, then DON’T WEAR THEM.

Can you tell? It’s a pet peeve of mine …

Anyways, today, I was that girl. Walking like I had a 300 pound monkey on my back outside of Moniyhan Center. To be fair, the shoes I was wearing were hand me downs, from my friend/hair stylist extraordinaire, Paige. SO I neither bought them myself, nor did I know what I was getting myself into this morning.

What are we getting to here in this post? Oh right, about the NYFW Show I attended this afternoon. Concept Korea.

Two designer runway shows fell underneath this umbrella.
Here’s part 1 by Kaal Eisuklae (which is definitely spelled wrong):

This collection was extremely neutral. Blacks. Whites. Tans. Nudes. I think the only pop of color I saw was red, which I wasn’t able to capture. There are those metallics again this season, too.

I have to say, it’s pretty cool coming back season after season. This will be my forth round at NYFW and seeing the transition … what comes back, what stays and what we never see again; attending each season it’s like a learning process! =)

I’ve also seen varsity style jackets, twice now. Which can only mean that silver metallic varsity jacket I have hanging in my closet with the tags still on was a successful ‘I’ll definitely get wear out of this, eventually‘ purchase. Told ya, Dad!

xo, Duffy
