Valentine’s Day OOTD

Valentine’s Day OOTD. Valentine’s Day! Yay! It’s here. Reminding all those single ladies with cats in cities to give roses and chocolates to themselves! 😉

All kidding aside, Valentine’s Day is a super sweet day to spend with your sweetie. My sweetie?! Is about 14 lbs, gold all over and meows for food 24/7. He’s adorbs.

I wish I could take him out for champagne!! But he would most likely hiss at any passing waiter… It wouldn’t be good. So on my plan for Valentines Day is an evening in with my Leo Love.

Today’s outfit of the day doubles as my outfit of the day post AND my top 3 romantic Champagne spots for those dwelling in Chicago and looking to only celebrate the day with some bubbly and their significant other that can behave themselves in real places.

1. RM Champagne Salon
This is one of the most romantic spots. I love it. Located in the West Loop (usually have to get to the Green Line to get here if you’re taking the train), and too cozy to pass up! It’s like walking into a vintage yet updated parlor house. Huge fireplace, yummy blue walls – brick, chandeliers and lots of decorative glasses behind the bar. No matter where you sit, it just feels like love.

2. The Library at Public
Okay, I must admit – I only chose this spot because of the atmosphere. Dim lights, white marble – dirty (in a chic and on purpose, vintage way) mirrors on the wall, plus – a top shelf taller than I’ve ever seen. Low level white leather couches and coffee tables line the inside of the bar. And while I’m not sure they’re specific niche is Champagne… you can definitely select it on their menu.

3. Pops for Champagne
Admission number two of this post – I’ve actually never been there. Seen it and heard of it though. And while I know its popularity may seem commercial – how can you not want to spend time in a place called ‘Pops’?

The tee and earrings are vintage, blazer is H&M, jeans are American Eagle
clutch is from Eons Fashion Antique (in Pittsburgh), sunglasses are Marc Jacobs and the heels are Jeffrey Campbell.
